Most paintings of Jotnar depict them with hair that stands straight out into spikes, but their hair is not naturally in this style. Instead, it is coaxed into this distinctive visage for the purposes of a tradition regarding war.

Body
Jotnar are typical humanoids except that they have two sets of fingers on each hand and they are very lanky despite their great height.
Of their two sets of fingers per hand, one set is smaller. This small set allows for movements that require detailed precision such as the making and use of tools. The other consists of much larger, and in contrast to the more typical hand structure of the small set, these large fingers are very sturdy, thick, and end in sharp point. The two sets of fingers can be articulated individually or in tandem. When use of only the small set is required, the large set will curl back, making use of the extended range of their metacarpophalangeal joints (the knuckles on the hand, not fingers) to allow for the proximal phalanges (the first bone of a finger, the one closest to the hand) to be nearly flush with the top of the hand.
They can be anywhere from 10'0"-15'0" tall.

Age
Jotnar age at half the normal aging speed of a Human until they reach their age of maturity at 30. After reaching maturity, they will age only 1 year every 30 years. They can live to a maximum age of 3,000.
